Is TrailLeaf an identification app?
No. TrailLeaf is an exploration and collection game. AI suggests a possible species; you Approve or Discard. Wrong suggestions happen — discard without shame and try another angle.
Why was my Snap rejected or marked as junk?
Photos that aren’t wildlife / plants, or that can’t be assessed, may be declined so Snaps aren’t wasted. Try a clearer photo of the animal or plant. Repeated junk may temporarily limit Snaps.
What are Snaps?
Snaps are your identification attempts. Free explorers get a monthly allowance; you can top up or upgrade when In‑App Purchases are live. Unused policy details will be shown in the shop.
Purchases & restore
When the App Store listing is live, buy Snap packs or Paid through Apple. Use Restore Purchases in the app (Shop / Profile) if you reinstall or switch phones after linking an account. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Camera or location permission
Camera is required to Snap. Location is optional — it improves trail clues and map context. You can change permissions in iOS Settings → TrailLeaf.
Delete my account / data
Email us from the address tied to your account with subject “Account deletion”. We’ll remove explorer data we hold. (In-app deletion will ship with real accounts.)
Report a bad ID or bug
Email apps@twodoodles.com with a short description and, if you’re willing, the species you expected. Screenshots help.
